The Magnolia School

The Magnolia School is a leading institution located in Bee Cave, Texas, serving the surrounding areas of Lakeway and beyond. We are dedicated to providing exceptional education to children aged 3 to 15, with a focus on exploration, empowerment, and tailored learning. Our Philosophy

At The Magnolia School, we believe that every child is unique, and we strive to create an environment that caters to their individual needs and interests. We achieve this through a combination of play, structured activities, and academic instruction, tailored to each student's developmental stage.

Programs

We offer a range of programs to suit the needs of our diverse student body:

• *Summer Camp*: Our summer program runs for eight weeks from early June through July, offering a variety of activities and learning opportunities for children aged 3-15.

• *Preschool (Ages 3-5)*: Our preschool program strikes the perfect balance between play, structured activities, and prepared academics, providing a strong foundation for future learning.

• *Elementary School (Ages 5-10)*: Our elementary school program combines academics and activities, with a strong emphasis on building self-discipline and fostering a love for learning.

• *Middle School (Ages 10-14)*: Our middle school program prepares students for high school, offering a curriculum that supports their self-interests and academic growth.

Our Team

At The Magnolia School, we believe that our teachers are more than just faculty members - they are part of our team. Our team is dedicated to contributing to the education, culture, and direction of our school. We have assembled a team of highly trained educators with impressive credentials and a passion for both teaching and learning.

*Meghan Housemann*, our Director of Pre-School, has worked in the field of education for over ten years. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and Early Childhood from the University of Texas, as well as a Master's in Education from Texas State University with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. Meghan became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2010 and has worked in a variety of settings, including consulting in public and private schools. She can often be found in the classroom, instructing children one-on-one and in small groups, or on the playscape or sandbox, encouraging imagination and fun.

*Ellen Carter*, our Director of School, received her Bachelor's degree from TCU in Speech and Language Pathology and her Master's in Education from UNT with an emphasis in Autism Intervention. She became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2011 and has worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for over 15 years in a variety of settings. Ellen takes pride in her work and loves to share children's accomplishments with families.
