Our journey began with Henry and Diane Mayo, who retired from their real estate business to pursue their dream of creating their own wine. Starting with just 10 acres of Laurel Hill Vineyard, they nurtured their passion for Chardonnay, ultimately crafting their first vintage in 1994. This marked the beginning of Mayo Family Winery's journey.
Over the years, we expanded our vision, acquiring the Ricci Vineyard in the Russian River Valley to specialize in Old Vine Zinfandel. We also refined our techniques, producing limited batches of single-vineyard wines that capture the unique character and essence of each varietal.
