At W Salon, we are proud to be a family-owned business, built on a legacy of generations of award-winning hairstylists and salon owners. Our story began with Peter and Shirley Webb, who brought their master skills and work ethic to the United States from Birmingham, England. They were inspired by their own entrepreneurial paths, owning their own salons and teaching together at the hairdressers academy in England. Peter and Shirley's achievements are unparalleled, with Shirley winning the World Hair Championship Day Styling in 1958 and Peter winning the World Hair Champion Evening Fantasy in 1961.
Our founders, Peter and Shirley, were entrepreneurs and artists in their own right. Their background in the industry led them to start their own salons, where they taught and mentored others. This legacy was passed down to their sons, Simon and Jonathan, who continued the tradition of high-level, creative hairstyling. With Maggie, Simon's wife, joining the team, the Webb family's dedication to training and education continues to thrive.
