Honoring the past, celebrating the present, empowering the future

At Metro Dog Seattle, we understand the special bond between humans and animals. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for both our human and furry friends. We believe that our four-legged companions bring joy, companionship, and love to our daily lives, and it is our responsibility to care for them with the same love and dedication as our two-legged family members.

Our Services

We offer a variety of services to cater to the unique needs of our furry friends and their human families. Our services include:

Daycare

Our daycare program provides a supervised environment where dogs who enjoy the company of other dogs can frolic the day away. Our large indoor/outdoor play area has space to run, wrestle or play fetch, and on warm days, we swim in the kiddie pools. Our daycare guests can rest on comfy old couches and receive heaps of love and attention from our animal-loving staff. Transportation is available to and from our facility for your canine companion. Our daycare guests go home happy and exhausted after a full day of fun.

Boarding

In a safe and fun environment, we offer both kennels and crates for the comfort of our guests. Amenities include orthopedic elevated beds, fleece blankets, and night lights. However, the real treat comes from a day full of fun daycare with other friendly and fun-loving dogs. Metro Dog offers daily round-trip transportation accompanied by a full day of daycare for dogs who prefer to sleep in their own home.

Pet First Aid

Join us for a day of comprehensive pet first aid training, suitable for pet care professionals, dog and cat owners, rescue workers, first responders, groomers, and shelter workers. Our pet first aid course covers lifesaving skills and techniques to help you care for your furry friends.

Home Care

Metro Dog covers a vast array of services, including individual dog walking, medication administration, and visits for lonely kitties while you're away. We are fully licensed, bonded, and insured and offer in-home services every day of the year. Our team is dedicated to making our facility and home visits as comfortable and enjoyable as possible for our furry friends.

Our Story

Metro Dog began in the mid-1990s as the pet sitting and dog walking company La Amiga Pet Care. In 2001, we opened our daycare and kennels, and in 2014, we began teaching Walks 'n' Wags Pet First Aid classes. We are certified in Dr. Sophia Yin's Low Stress Handling Techniques and Fear Free and have experience with many other calming methods such as TTouch. Our mission is to contribute to the pet care community and the pet community as a whole by teaching pet first aid classes that are suitable for pet care professionals.
