Welcome to Go By Bike, the largest bike valet in North America and a pioneer in promoting sustainable transportation. Founded in 2013 by Kiel Johnson, Go By Bike has been dedicated to making cycling more accessible and convenient for everyone. We park over 100,000 bikes a year and offer same-day repair services, as well as operating the OHSU bike share program.
Our mission is to promote a healthier, happier, and more connected community by providing safe and convenient bike parking, repair services, and bike sharing opportunities. We are passionate about empowering people to choose cycling as a viable and enjoyable mode of transportation.
Bike Share and Loaner Program
Go By Bike has partnered with OHSU to offer a bike share program, which includes three stations where you can pick up and return bikes. These stations are located in front of Go By Bike under the aerial tram, next to the Robertson Life Science Building at the westside Tilikum bridge landing, and at the Schnitzer parking lot. The bike share program is designed to provide an easy and fun way to get around the South Waterfront and beyond.
Our bike share bikes are perfect for short trips, running errands, or exploring the city. They are equipped with adjustable seats, front and rear lights, and a bell, making them safe and comfortable to ride. The bike share program is free for anyone with an OHSU email, making it an affordable and accessible transportation option for the OHSU community.
Event Parking
Go By Bike provides valet bike parking services for events of all sizes. Our experienced team will handle the logistics of bike parking, allowing you to focus on your event. We have provided bike parking services for various events, including festivals, concerts, conventions, and sports events. Our valet bike parking service is free for anyone to use, making it a convenient and eco-friendly transportation option for your event attendees.
Go By Pedicab
Go By Bike is excited to offer the first free electric pedicab shuttle in the United States. The pedicab shuttle is designed to provide a quick and convenient way to get around the South Waterfront, connecting parking and transit stops spread around the area. The shuttle is free for anyone with an OHSU badge, making it an accessible and sustainable transportation option for the OHSU community.

In addition to our pedicab shuttle service, we also offer pedicab rental services for weddings and other events. Repair Services
At Go By Bike, we understand the importance of having a reliable and safe bike. That's why we offer same-day repair services for all types of bikes, from commuter bikes to high-end road bikes. Our experienced mechanics are trained to handle all types of repairs, from tune-ups to major overhauls.
On the day you'd like your bike repaired, fill out the repair form below and bring your bike to our shop. Repairs are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. We also offer a loaner bike program, so you can still get around while your bike is being repaired.
