Who We Are
At Definition Dance, we are passionate about sharing the joy of dance with our community. Our mission is to provide a high level of professionalism in the field of dance, while creating an enjoyable atmosphere and relationships that will last a lifetime. We believe that dance is the definition of self-expression, and we are dedicated to helping every student find their own unique way to define themselves.
Our Story
Our journey began with two dedicated dance instructors, Kate Louer and Meredith Schultz, who have a combined 20+ years of experience in the dance industry. Kate, a Las Vegas native, has been training in various dance styles for over 20 years, including ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, and hip-hop. She has performed with renowned choreographers and companies, including Thodos Dance Chicago and Rasa Dance Chicago. Kate is also a mother to two amazing children and feels grateful to have been able to bring her passion for dance to her family.
Meredith, a Dayton native, has trained in multiple disciplines, including tap, jazz, ballet, modern, and contemporary. She has performed with Dayton Ballet and Dayton Contemporary Dance Company's 2nd company, and has been a member of Giordano Dance Chicago. With over 10 years of teaching experience, Meredith has taught master classes nationally and internationally, and has adjudicated for the World Class Talent Experience and Master Faculty for Jazz Dance World Congress Kid's Jazz.

At Definition Dance, we believe that our studio is more than just a place to take classes. We strive to create a warm and welcoming environment where dancers of all levels can feel comfortable expressing themselves. Our studios are equipped with state-of-the-art flooring, mirrors, and sound systems to ensure the best possible learning experience.
Services Offered

We also offer adult classes, master classes, and workshops. Additionally, we offer specialized classes for toddlers and preschoolers, as well as birthday parties and special events.
