Our Story
Rent Key West Vacations was founded in 1996 by Roberta Lowe and Dawn Thornburgh, two of the most prominent property management companies in Key West. With a combined experience of over 20 years in the vacation rental industry, they brought a collection of vacation rental properties and a wealth of knowledge about the local community to the table. Over the years, the company has continued to grow and evolve, with new leadership and new properties being added to the portfolio.
Our Leadership
In 2000, Paul Hayes and Dean Carlson purchased Rent Key West Vacations and brought new energy and expertise to the company. Paul, as the managing partner and president, has been instrumental in growing the company and expanding its offerings. Paul is also a proud member of the Florida Vacation Rental Managers Association and has served as the president of the association. This experience has given him a deep understanding of the vacation rental industry and has allowed him to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices.
