Our History
Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis was founded over 50 years ago with the goal of providing a comprehensive education in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy. Since then, we have established ourselves as a leading institution in the field, known for our highly individualized approach to learning and our commitment to fostering a deep understanding of psychoanalytic theory and practice.
Our Programs
We offer a range of programs designed to meet the needs of students at different stages of their educational and professional journey. Our Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling is a two-year, full-time program that provides students with training in powerful psychodynamic methods. Our Doctor of Psychoanalysis (PsyaD) program combines full training to become a psychoanalyst with academic and research studies leading to the doctorate. We also offer a Hybrid Accelerated PsyaD for Certified Analysts, as well as programs in Psychoanalysis, Society and Culture (MA and PsyaD), and other degree and certificate programs.
