Atmosphere and Ambiance
Silver Mountain Winery has a lovely setting with stunning views in all directions. The winery has a small tasting room for bad weather and a pleasant outdoor seating area with gentle music in a grassy amphitheater. The grand deck is covered for tastings rain or shine.
Wine Quality and Selection
The wines at Silver Mountain Winery are all excellent, with some made from grapes grown locally and others from the central coast. The winemaker and staff are knowledgeable, and the winery boasts an ecological approach.
Service
The owners and staff are very accommodating and friendly. They offer a range of services, including wine tastings and picnics. The winery is also very child-friendly, with plenty of space for families.
Negative Experiences
Unfortunately, one reviewer had a bad experience with a wine pourer who was rude and refused to pour the full amount of tasting offered. The customer was on a tight schedule for a tour and felt that the pourer's behavior was unacceptable.
