Heavenly Sweets Bakery LLC. is a New Orleans based bakery that is dedicated to producing pastries native to our beloved city. We are proud to continue the rich tradition of baking in New Orleans, a city known for its culinary delights. Our bakery is located in the historical Gentilly area, in the iconic building that once housed Lawrence Bakery, also known as "Mr. Wedding Cake". We carry on many of the local traditions as well as a few of our own, creating a unique blend of the old and the new.
Our Story
Heavenly Sweets Bakery LLC. was started in 2018 by two sisters who embarked on the takeover of the pastry world. The bakery was founded on their Christian beliefs, as God urges Christians to live their lives as a sweet savor unto God. With over 60+ years of baking and decorating experience, these sisters have the tools to make your dreams come true. We pride ourselves on perfection, and we are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality products and services.
Our Bakery
At Heavenly Sweets Bakery LLC., we offer a wide variety of pastries, including select items available for local pickup. We specialize in Cinnamon Rolls, made with fluffy dough, cinnamon, sugar, raisins, and sweet icing. We also offer a range of traditional New Orleans pastries, such as King Cakes, Pralines, and Sweet Potato Pies. Our pastries are made with the finest ingredients, and we take great care in ensuring that every item that leaves our bakery is of the highest quality.
Custom Wedding and Occasional Cake Designs
We are a one-stop-shop that prides itself in the taste of our products just as much as how it looks. We offer custom wedding and occasional cake designs for every event. From traditional to contemporary, we can create a cake that fits your style and budget. Our cakes are not only delicious but also beautifully designed, making them the centerpiece of any event. We work closely with our customers to ensure that every cake is a perfect representation of their vision.
Ordering
To order, please allow 3 days in advance for regular orders. However, please allow 24 hours from inquiry for response. For wedding cake orders, we require a wedding cake consultation and 6 months in advance notice. Cakes including fondant pieces or gum paste flowers and figures require a 7-day in advance notice. We offer local pickup from 12 PM-2 PM, and we recommend specifying the date and time pickup is needed at checkout in the "Special Instructions" box provided.
