Our Story

Papillon Restaurant, meaning "butterfly" in French, has been a staple in the Niles area of Fremont for over four decades. Our restaurant is located on Mission Boulevard, just west of the entrance to Niles Canyon, near the Sullivan Underpass. We take pride in our elegant and stately atmosphere, with traditional style dining rooms and an atrium that glows softly in the evening. Our spacious banquet room can accommodate up to 70 guests, making it the perfect venue for private events and celebrations.

Our Chef

Our Executive Chef, Nittra Foreman, has been leading the culinary team at Papillon Restaurant for almost 40 years. She received her formal culinary education at Tante Marie in San Francisco and has continued her training with renowned chefs in the city. Her Asian background in the culinary arts brings a unique dimension to her creativity, and her travel and studies in European culinary methods have enhanced her interpretation of contemporary culinary arts.
