Our chefs, led by our husband-and-wife team, Jimmy and Noi, combine the finest ingredients with a passion for innovation to create uniquely flavorful dishes that showcase the rich cultural heritage of Thailand and Japan.
Our Story
Our journey began in the Midwest, where Jimmy and Noi met while working at a Thai restaurant in West Virginia. Jimmy, a native of Okinawa, Japan, and Noi, from a suburb of Bangkok, Thailand, brought their shared passion for cooking together to create a fusion of flavors that would soon become a hallmark of our cuisine. They went on to open several successful restaurants in Illinois before deciding to retire in Florida and start a new chapter in their culinary journey.

After building a reputation for serving authentic Thai and Japanese cuisine in Illinois, Jimmy and Noi opened Payathai Asian Restaurant in Atlantis, Florida. Our goal is to provide an unforgettable dining experience, combining the warm hospitality of our family-run business with the rich cultural heritage of our native countries.
