At Cafe Eleven, we are committed to creating a warm and welcoming environment where neighbors can come together to share a cup of coffee, a meal, and some conversation. Our mission is to start a habit of neighborhood engagement over good coffee and good food, fostering a sense of community and connection among our customers.
Our Story
Located in the heart of the Woodlawn neighborhood in Northeast Portland, Cafe Eleven has a rich history dating back to its inception as a bakery. Over the years, it has undergone various transformations, with two Polish sisters taking over and renaming it Cafe Eleven in homage to a beloved coffee shop in Krakow, Poland called Coffee 11. In 2017, a former journalist and Army veteran purchased the business with the goal of creating a neighborhood hub where people could gather, socialize, and enjoy delicious food and drink.
Our Services
At Cafe Eleven, we pride ourselves on offering a wide range of services to cater to our customers' needs. Whether you're in a hurry or have a special event to plan, we're here to help. Our menu features a variety of vegetarian and plant-based options, including sandwiches, pastries, and baked goods, all made fresh to order. We also offer catering services for up to 20 people, with advance notice of at least four days required. We can accommodate special requests and customized orders to make your gathering or meeting a success.

We believe in supporting our local community and environment. We source our baked goods and food from local vendors, including Trailhead Coffee Roasters, Shoofly Vegan Bakery, and Bee's Custom Cakes, Earthly Gourmet, Classic Foods, and Desi Chai PDX. We're passionate about supporting organizations that align with our values, such as Do Good Multnomah, Soul River Inc., Love is King, Let Freedom Roam, Woodlawn Farmers Market, and NECN Better.
Technology and Innovation
We're committed to staying ahead of the curve and embracing new technologies that enhance our customers' experience. That's why we're proud to offer a pickup window and online ordering options through UberEats and Postmates. We also have a loyalty program in place, where customers can keep track of their purchases and redeem rewards.
