Our Story
Gemmae Bake Shop has been a staple in the Long Beach community for over 40 years. Our journey began in 1979 in the Philippines, where our founder, Prescilla Tolentino, opened a small food stall serving traditional Filipino dishes. Fast forward to 1993, we brought our passion for good food and culture to Long Beach, California. Today, we are proud to have served the community for almost 30 years.
Our Mission
At Gemmae Bake Shop, we're dedicated to sharing the flavors and traditions of the Philippines with our customers. We believe that food has the power to bring people together and create lasting memories. Our mission is to provide high-quality, authentic Filipino dishes made fresh daily, while delivering exceptional customer service.
Catering
We offer catering services for special occasions, events, and corporate functions. Our catering menu features a variety of delicious dishes, from appetizers to main courses, and sweet treats. Please place your order at least 48 hours prior to pick-up or delivery date.
Delivery Service
We offer delivery within a 35-mile radius of our Long Beach location for catering orders over $350. Our delivery fee is $50 plus $2-$5 per mile, depending on any packing and set-up requirements.
Payment
We accept all major credit cards and Apple Pay. Payment may be made in person at Gemmae Bake Shop or online. If you wish to pay online, please email admin@gemmae.com to request an invoice with a secure link for payment.
