Innovative Preschool

Welcome to Innovative Preschool, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children with diverse needs. Established in 1989, we have been serving the community of Chico, California, for over three decades. Our preschool program is designed for children aged 2 1/2 to 6 years old, and we take pride in being an inclusive and accepting community where children of all abilities can thrive.

Our Mission

At Innovative Preschool, we believe that every child deserves a chance to grow and develop their potential. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive program that fosters social, emotional, creative, physical, and cognitive development in a responsive environment that considers the diverse needs of families. We recognize that each child is unique, and we strive to provide a supportive and stimulating environment that encourages peer acceptance, high self-esteem, and independence.

Our Services

Our program is designed to promote peer acceptance and help all children feel competent. We believe in the importance of interdependence and encourage children to develop skills that enable them to work together with their peers. Our highly qualified teachers are trained to provide individualized support and guidance, while also promoting independence and self-directed learning.

Inclusive Play

At Innovative Preschool, we believe that inclusive play is essential in promoting a sense of belonging and understanding among children. Our playgroups are designed to bring children of all abilities together, where they can interact, engage, and develop relationships with each other. Our staff works closely with children to facilitate play and learning environments that cater to their individual needs and abilities.

Our Team

Our team of experienced teachers is dedicated to providing a supportive and stimulating environment that nurtures the growth and development of each child. Our teachers are passionate about their work and are dedicated to providing each child with the tools they need to succeed. Enrollment

We accept enrollment for children aged 2 1/2 to 6 years old. Our enrollment process is designed to be easy and convenient, with a waitlist system in place to ensure that we can accommodate the needs of all interested families.
