In 2024, Cerberus Brewing Company acquired the Colorado Springs Bike Shop from long-time owners Bonnie and Ed Johnson, allowing them to fulfill their retirement dreams. While our new ownership has brought exciting changes to our store, we remain committed to our core values of providing expert advice, quality products, and exceptional customer service.

Bike Shop Experience
Disappointing Experiences
The bike shop had some major issues with communication and ordering. One customer had a terrible experience with ordering two Aventon bikes, paying $1000 as a down payment, and waiting almost two months only to find out that the bikes were never ordered due to being out of stock. The shop was also accused of being dishonest about their process and trying to justify why it's better to buy from them instead of directly from Aventon's website.
Another customer had a poor experience with tube replacement, with the tires going flat twice after riding on paved streets, resulting in a $27 cost each time.
Positive Experiences
On the other hand, the bike shop had some outstanding experiences with customers. One customer had a flat tire on their wheelchair while visiting and the shop fixed it on a major holiday, which was a lifesaver. Another customer was helped by the staff to use their pump properly and got their tires filled for free.
The shop also received praise for their knowledgeable and calm staff, who were honest and hardworking. Several customers had great experiences buying e-bikes, with the staff being responsive, friendly, and helpful. The shop was also commended for their help with the Colorado e-bike rebate program and their ability to add-on accessories to customers' bikes.
