At Calvary Preschool, we believe that every child has the potential to thrive and grow in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Our non-profit organization has been serving the South Pasadena community for over 60 years, and we are proud to be a licensed preschool by the State of California and the Department of Social Services.

Our History

Calvary Preschool was established in 1959 as an outreach of Calvary Presbyterian Church. The church has partnered with the preschool to provide a high-quality early childhood education to the community. Our commitment to providing a safe, engaging, and individualized learning experience has made us a beloved institution in the area.

Our Classroom Principles

Our Programs

Calvary Preschool offers both Half-Day and All-Day programs for children 2-years nine months through 5-years of age. Our Half-Day Program runs from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., and our All-Day Program runs from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We also offer Extended Care Programs, including Early Drop Off and Extended Lunch Programs, to support working parents.
