Granada PRK Methodist Nursery School

Granada Park United Methodist Nursery School & Kindergarten (GPUMNSK) is a non-profit, year-round educational institution that caters to the developmental needs of preschool and kindergarten children, aged 2 years 6 months to 5 years. As an outreach ministry of Sage Granada Park UMC, GPUMNSK is committed to providing equal treatment and access to services without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, or ancestry.

Our mission is to serve the Church and Community by incorporating California State Preschool Standards and fostering an awareness of God's love and care. Established in 1966, GPUMNSK has consistently delivered high-quality learning programs that support children from diverse backgrounds. We strive to meet the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs of each child and aid in the development of their self-esteem.

At GPUMNSK, we promote exploration and discovery as a learning tool, offer opportunities for verbal expression, and encourage children to make choices in an open classroom atmosphere. Our curriculum exposes children to art, music, language art, creative movement, science, cooking, pre-reading, and pre-math activities. We firmly believe that active play is vital for both mental and physical development and prioritize the protection and nurturing of each child's self-esteem.

In addition to our school day program & classes, GPUMNSK offers continuous enrollment and a summer school curriculum designed to excite each child about the world and instill a love for learning. Our experienced and caring staff create a supportive environment that encourages children to embrace new possibilities and concepts.
