Our Story

LaRosa's was founded in 1954 by Italian immigrants, Piero and Francesca LaRosa, who brought their beloved recipes and traditions to the United States. Since then, we've grown to become a beloved neighborhood staple, with pizzerias throughout the region. Our story is one of family, food, and community - and we can't wait to share it with you.

Positive: LaRosa's has provided excellent service and food to many of its customers, with fast and accurate order fulfillment and pleasant staff interactions.

Negative: Some customers have experienced issues with the quality of their food, including receiving incorrect orders or having to wait excessively long times.

Quality Issues with Food

Larisha Baines and Floyd Thompson both experienced issues with their food orders. Larisha reported that her pizza had no sauce and the cheese looked undone, while Floyd's calzones arrived with too little meat and too much dough. LaRosa's gave Floyd credit for the order and apologized for the mistake.

Long Wait Times

Michelle Mallaley was extremely disappointed with her experience, waiting over an hour for a phone-in order that was supposed to take only 15 minutes. She also reported receiving the wrong order and having to wait even longer for the correct food. The only employee who seemed to try to help was the person working the cash register.

Good Service and Food

On the other hand, several reviewers had positive experiences with LaRosa's. Kimberly A. Gaines Nana, Alex Gray, Brandon Bowers, Russell Hahn, and Damien Todd all gave the restaurant 5-star reviews. They praised the speed and accuracy of their orders, as well as the friendly and helpful staff. Brian, a specific employee at the Pleasant Ridge location, was also mentioned as being particularly helpful and efficient.
