At Wenzler Preschool & Learning Center, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children from six weeks to nine years old. Our mission is to develop the whole child, socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually, while fostering a sense of community and belonging.
Our Story
Our journey began in 1987 when our founders, Ben, Benita, and Brenda, envisioned a place where children could grow and thrive. Two years later, we broke ground on our current location in Kettering, Ohio, and officially opened our doors in 1989. Our center is named after our patriarch, Ben Wenzler, who was committed to excellence and dedicated to providing the best possible education for his grandchildren and the community.
Our Family
At Wenzler Preschool & Learning Center, family is everything. Our founders, Brenda and Benita, are the daughters of Ben Wenzler and have been involved with the center from its inception. Their daughters, Ashley and Stephanie, are also part of the team, with Ashley serving as our Director. Our staff is like a big family, and we strive to create a sense of belonging and warmth for every child and family who walks through our doors.
Our Curriculum
We are proud to implement the Creative Curriculum, a research-based and research-proven curriculum resource that has been shown to improve student outcomes. Our curriculum is designed to be engaging, interactive, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each child. We believe that every child learns differently, and we strive to provide a personalized learning experience that fosters growth and development.
Our Facilities
Our 8,200 square-foot facility is designed to provide a safe and secure environment for children to learn and thrive. Our classrooms are designed to be bright, spacious, and well-equipped to support the learning process. We also have a fully enclosed outdoor play area and a nearby park, Irelan Park, which provides additional recreational space for our children.
