Our History
Founded in 1954, Employees Federal Credit Union has a rich history of serving the financial needs of our members. From our humble beginnings with seven initial members to our current diverse membership base, we have always adapted and evolved to meet the changing needs of our community.
Who Can Join?
Membership in Employees Federal Credit Union is open to individuals who meet one of the following criteria:
- Current employee, retirees, or active/retired volunteers of participating employers in our area
- Immediate family members (spouse, children, parents, siblings) of eligible members
- Certain organizations or groups we partner with

Excellent Service
Several reviewers have had positive experiences with the bank's service. Joshua Poindexter, who has purchased three cars from the bank, praises the helpful and quick-to-respond staff, particularly Niki, Liz, and Sami. Clarence Daughrity, a 10-year member of the bank, agrees, noting that the service is great and the staff is very helpful and nice. Dtrain Steel appreciates the friendly atmosphere, feeling celebrated rather than tolerated. Loren Gaines enjoys the friendly people who seem to love their job, making it a nice experience. Shiree Ekstrand, a long-time member, mentions that the staff is great, although she wishes there was a drive-thru service.
Poor Experience
On the other hand, some reviewers have had negative experiences. Brittany Boyd sets up a youth savings account for her daughter, but when they need to close the account, the bank tries to use the child's money to pay off an alleged loan from her husband. Brandon Brashier is unhappy with the customer service, advising others to choose a different bank.
