At Acme Logistics, our history dates back to 1964 when Happy Cothren, a retired US Postal Service employee, had a vision to make moving goods easier for businesses with a focus on customer service. With one truck in his fleet, Acme Delivery Services Inc. was born. Over the years, we have grown and expanded our services, but at the core of our operations lies a commitment to our customers. Our Story
In 1964, Happy Cothren started Acme Delivery Services Inc. with a single truck. As the company grew, Happy's vision for customer-centric logistics remained unchanged. In the 1980s, Steve Coogler purchased the company, ushering in a new era of growth and expansion. Today, we operate in Lexington and Charleston, SC, with headquarters in Greenville, SC.

Our Fleet
Our fleet comprises over 40 on-highway tractors, with most models from 2019 or newer. We also have over 60 trailers, including dry vans, flatbeds, Conestoga, and reefer trailers. Our vehicles are equipped to handle a variety of goods, from automotive tires to medical equipment.
