At Blackman Ltd. Jewelers, we are a family-owned luxury jewelry and watch salon and atelier, established in 1957. Our story began when Bruce Blackman founded the business to service the marine industry in and around Newport Bay, specializing in sales and service of marine chronometers, high-grade watches like Rolex, Patek Philippe, compasses, barometers, sextants, and other marine instruments. Over the years, we have grown and expanded our services to offer a wide range of premium jewels and watches from around the world, including exotic stones, diamonds, and the latest Italian styles.

Our services include custom engagement ring design, professional watch repairs on Rolex and other fine Swiss brands, bead stringing, appraisals, and estate sales. We also offer giftware from around the world, featuring unique and hard-to-find items for special occasions. Our team of experts is dedicated to providing exceptional service, ensuring that every customer leaves our salon feeling satisfied and valued.
Our Expertise
Our team of skilled craftsmen and GIA graduate gemologists work together to provide exceptional jewelry design and repair services. We can efficiently repair your jewels or fabricate new designs in the latest fashion. Our watch service and restoration department specializes in Rolex service, but we also cater to other luxury brands like Patek Phillipe, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Audemars Piguet, Cartier, Breitling, Hamilton, Elgin, and Rado.
In addition to our repair services, we offer pearl and bead stringing, including classic knotting with silk and French wire, as well as design services. Our GIA graduate gemologist is available on the premises for insurance, estate, and market value appraisals. We also purchase or find buyers for special pieces, making us the go-to destination for estate sales.
