At Taos Indian Trading Co., we are dedicated to providing our customers with the finest Native American jewelry, pottery, sculpture, rugs, fetish carvings, contemporary paintings and prints, Kachinas, masks, beadwork, concho belts, and a variety of other artifacts representing 57 tribes. We take great pride in our close relationships with the artists we represent, many of whom we have worked with for decades. Our team regularly visits the Southwest to purchase unique, one-of-a-kind pieces directly from artists at their homes on the reservation.

Our History

Established in 1987, Taos Indian Trading Co. has a rich history of providing exceptional services to our customers. From our humble beginnings on Santa Monica Boulevard in the heart of downtown Santa Monica to our current location on Hawthorne Boulevard in Torrance, we have remained committed to showcasing the beauty and craftsmanship of Native American art.

Todd Swift, the owner of Taos Indian Trading Co., has extensive experience in the Native American art industry. He has provided artifacts and jewelry, or designed custom jewelry for movies such as "Contact" with Jodie Foster, Aliens with Sigourney Weaver, Windtalkers, Lonesome Dove, Return to Lonesome Dove, Brave, and Get Shorty and most recently True Detective on HBO. With his expertise and passion for Native American art, Todd is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers.
