Disappointing Experience
The reviews highlight a disappointing experience at SJDCHS. Emily Johnson, a former student, gave the school 1 star, expressing frustration with the administration's handling of her academic records. She claims that her GPA was manipulated, significantly dropping from 2.5 to 1.6, as she was not given all the credits she earned. She warns potential students to avoid the school, fearing it will harm their chances of attending a university.
Positive Experience
On the other hand, Celeste Minick, a parent, had a very different experience. She gave the school 5 stars, praising the school for its positive impact on her children and family. She appreciates the school's emphasis on religiosity and internship experience, believing it has helped her children develop into decent and honest teenagers.
Disagreement with Administration
Elizabeth Lander, a former student, also expressed disappointment, this time with the school's new Principal, Berenice Anderson. She gave the school 1 star, stating that the Principal's "cold-hearted" approach has compromised the school's values and motto. Lander believes that Anderson's sole focus on profits has led to a lack of care for students and parents.
