Our Services

We offer a range of services to cater to your individual needs. Our services include:

• Personal Care and Home Health Services: These services provide additional assistance with Activities of Daily Living that become necessary as people become more frail. These services may include incontinent care, bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, and ambulation. We also provide assistance with hoist lifts, colostomy, or foley catheter care.
• Companion Care: Our caregivers provide companionship and support to clients, often including light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Homemaking: Our services include meal preparation, shopping, light housekeeping, and laundry.
• Chore Services: We offer heavy-duty cleaning services, including moving furniture, removing and replacing draperies, and cleaning windows and basements.
• Medication Management: Our licensed nurses pre-fill weekly medication planners in accordance with your physician's orders, and we monitor medication compliance.
• Transportation Services: We provide transportation to and from appointments, errands, social functions, and other activities.
• Respite Services: These services allow the primary caregiver of a client to take a break, often including homemaking and personal care services.

Our History

Independence Healthcare Corporation was founded in March 2003 by Trevor and Elaine, with the help and guidance of John Rainey from the Small Business Development Center at Clark University. We are licensed by the Division of Occupational Safety and Registered by the Department of Health. We are also members of the Massachusetts Council for Home Care Aides, the Worcester Chamber of Commerce, and the National Association of Private Duty Aides.
