Reviews
Positive: Positive comments highlight the quality of therapy services, the kindness of staff, and the welcoming environment.
Negative: Negative comments focus on communication issues, particularly with prescription refills, and some patients' feelings of being ignored or abandoned.

Communication Issues

Several patients at Potomac Behavioral Solutions (PBS) have expressed frustration with communication issues revolving around prescription renewal. One patient, Sonja Owens, noted that her father, who manages her prescription refills, has trouble getting through to PBS and Dr. Kim, her psychiatrist. Despite attempting to call during weekdays and business hours, calls are often not answered, leading to extended periods of time without access to necessary medication.

Therapy Services

Patients have had varying experiences with PBS' therapy services. While some, like Hannah Alansky, have reported positive interactions with their therapists, others, like Amy Horowitz, have had negative experiences. Horowitz felt ignored and abandoned by PBS, which led to her seeking help elsewhere.

Group Therapy

Jess, a former patient, praised the PBS group therapy program, noting that patients were actively engaged and the instructors were knowledgeable. However, they did mention that the content could feel repetitive and superficial at times.

Prescription Refills

Sonja Owens highlighted the struggles she and her father experienced when trying to refill her prescription. Despite being prescribed a controlled substance, Owens believed that PBS and Dr. Kim failed to prioritize her medical needs, leading to extended delays in refills.

Admin and Office Staff

Several patients, including Jess, praised the PBS admin and office staff, noting that they were competent, professional, and provided exceptional customer service.
