Ruthless Staff and Unprofessional Environment
Several reviewers have expressed their extreme dissatisfaction with Vermillion Inpatient, citing a lack of care and respect from the staff. Jennifer Oray, who gave the facility a rating of 1 star, described the environment as "gross and nasty" and stated that employees gossip about clients. Similarly, Kaitlyn Melancon, who also gave a rating of 1 star, described the facility as a "1900s scary psych ward" with a lack of transparency and unprofessional behavior from staff.
Lack of Communication and Unsettling Environment
Angelle LaCroix, who gave a rating of 2 stars, shared her experience of having her child involuntarily admitted to the facility. She expressed disappointment with the lack of communication between staff members and the unprofessional behavior of some employees. Her child was subjected to a choke hold by another patient and was cursed at by a member of the staff.
Poor Treatment of Patients and Lack of Transparency
Tiffany Thurman, who gave a rating of 1 star, shared her experience of having her 14-year-old child hospitalized at Vermillion Inpatient. She expressed frustration with the facility's lack of transparency and poor treatment of patients. Her child was allowed to call out against her will, and she was threatened with child abandonment charges when she failed to pick up her child on the day of discharge.
Unsettling Environment and Lack of Care
Jada Barnes, who also gave a rating of 1 star, shared her experience of being a patient at the facility. She expressed disappointment with the lack of care and concern from staff members, stating that they were more interested in forcing patients to cooperate than in helping them to recover.
