Performance and Communication
Barker Realty has received mixed reviews from tenants. While some praise their performance and persistence, others have negative experiences. RoyalT mentions that the staff were pleasant, but management could be better and more professional. In contrast, Crawford Clan and Rosa have had positive experiences with the property management team, specifically Dawn and Orielle, who went above and beyond to assist them with their needs.
Maintenance and Property Conditions
Jasmine Cooley's experience was marred by mold growth in her apartment, which she reported multiple times to no avail. She also had to deal with bricks thrown through her windows, which she believes was an act of intimidation by Barker Realty. In contrast, Rosa had a positive experience with maintenance after reporting damage to her property. Larrhon Foushee, on the other hand, had issues with maintenance, including sealed shut windows and cold water.
Property Managers
Dawn and Orielle have received praise for their excellent communication and willingness to help tenants. However, Nicole, the other property manager, has been criticized by Larrhon Foushee for her lack of communication and poor customer service.
Rent and Lease
Brenton Walker, Jasmine Cooley, and Larrhon Foushee have all mentioned issues with rent and lease agreements. Jasmine Cooley was charged for months she was supposed to be exempt from paying rent due to the mold issues, while Larrhon Foushee felt that the rent was not worth the trouble.
