Welcome to Naples Learning Center, a place where we believe in fostering a lifelong love of learning. We are a tutoring center that has been serving the greater Long Beach community and its neighboring cities for over a decade. Our mission is to create opportunities for our students that go beyond their imagination, helping them develop the skills and mindset needed for lifelong success.

At Naples Learning Center, we take pride in our unique ability to develop individualized success for students of all ages. We understand that each child has their own unique learning style, strengths, and weaknesses. That's why we offer a variety of tutoring services that are tailored to meet the needs of each student and their family.

Our vision is to create lifelong success stories, one student at a time. We believe that children who are actively engaged in the learning process develop a greater sense of confidence, become proficient in their studies, excel in life beyond academics, and learn to create opportunities for lifelong success.

Tutoring Services

We offer a wide variety of tutoring services, including:

Individualized Tutoring

Our individualized tutoring program is designed to meet the needs of each child and family. By working with parents and teachers, we are able to offer every student the help and support they need to improve their skills and work toward fulfilling their potential. Our diagnostic skills assessments enable us to pinpoint those academic areas which need special attention. We provide insight as to exactly what "building blocks" of learning have yet to be mastered so that we can help provide that solid foundation for success.

Homework Club

Homework Club allows students a place where they can complete their school work with the support of our teachers. Students can work on their homework, daily reading, projects, and study for quizzes and tests. They'll be able to work with their peers and have their assignments checked by a teacher before they leave.

Drop-In Sessions

Drop-in Sessions are ideal for students who need immediate specialized assistance on assignments, projects, or preparing for a test without a monthly commitment. We understand that new academic demands can arise at any time and we are here to help.

Summer Programs

Every June through August, we offer a special program to meet your child's needs while school is not in session. Our summer program is designed to provide students with the academic support they need to maintain their skills and continue learning during the summer months.

Academic Tutoring

Our academic tutoring services cover a wide range of subjects, including math, science, English, and social studies. We provide one-on-one tutoring sessions that are tailored to meet the needs of each student. Our tutors are qualified and experienced teachers who are passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals.

School Work Help

Our school work help services are designed to provide students with the support they need to complete their school work. We offer assistance with homework, projects, and test preparation. Our tutors work with students to develop effective study habits and time management skills.

Test Preparation

We offer test preparation services for a variety of standardized tests, including the SAT, ACT, and AP exams. Our tutors use proven strategies and techniques to help students prepare for these tests. We provide diagnostic assessments, practice tests, and personalized study plans to help students achieve their best scores.

Academic Coaching

Our academic coaching services are designed to help students develop the skills and mindset needed for academic success. We work with students to set academic goals, develop effective study habits, manage their time, and build confidence. Our coaches provide ongoing support and accountability to help students stay on track and achieve their goals.

At Naples Learning Center, we are passionate about not only the students we work with but also their families and the communities in which they reside. We foster ongoing communication between our teachers, the students, and the parents. Together, we create a personalized program to meet the students' needs to best help them develop confidence, proficiency, and excellence in both their schooling and their life.

About the Center Director

Chantha Seng, the Center Director, is a product of the Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD) and has a deep understanding of the local education system. She grew up attending LBUSD schools and upon graduation, taught in the same district she was a student of. She now owns and operates The Naples Learning Center (NLC) which currently serves many LBUSD students.

Chantha developed a passion for teaching as a young girl from a close family friend who was a teacher and Chantha's role model. Through her example, Chantha grew to love learning and personal growth. When she later met an "angel", a colleague of hers at the school district where she worked, and was given the opportunity to assist her with opening NLC, she jumped at the chance because she had dreamt of owning a tutoring business herself.

Eight years later, she took over the business and now guides many students through not only their academic success but also their lifetime goals by helping them develop into true lifelong learners. When you meet "Miss Seng" personally, you will instantly feel her peaceful nature, her passion for teaching, and her love for children. Her desire is to provide more than a tutoring experience but to also encourage a lifelong love of learning.
