Lutheran High School

For 75 years, the Cleveland Lutheran High School Association (CLHSA) has been dedicated to providing an elite education in a Christ-centered environment. Our mission is to offer students an exceptional learning experience that fosters academic, spiritual, emotional, and social growth. We serve students from four counties across Northeast Ohio through our two schools: Lutheran East and Lutheran West. Both schools are committed to excellence in education, with a focus on developing the whole child.

History and Legacy

The CLHSA has a rich history, dating back to the establishment of Lutheran High School East and Lutheran High School West. Over the years, we have continued to evolve and grow, expanding our reach and impact in the community. Today, we are proud to have a strong alumni network and a vibrant community of supporters who share our vision for Christian education.

Services and Programs

Our services and programs are designed to support the educational and spiritual development of our students. We offer tuition assistance through the Triumph Fund, ensuring that deserving students can access our programs regardless of their financial situation. We also have various giving options, including the Annual Fund, Planned Giving, and the Cleveland Lutheran Educational Endowment Fund (CLEEF), which help us sustain our operations and plan for the future. Additionally, we organize events like the OMNIA fundraising gala, the CLHSA Golf Classic, and the Sagehorn Golf Outing, which bring our community together and support our mission.

Leadership and Staff

At the heart of our organization are dedicated and engaging Christian educators. Our leadership team, including Superintendent and CEO Chris Steinmann, is committed to guiding our schools towards excellence. We believe in the importance of community involvement and are grateful for the support of our partner churches and the Downtown School Association.
