Borelli's Dance Gallery was founded in 1991 by Dana Borelli Pecarchik and Pamela Borelli Barsotti, who began their dance journey at age three. With decades of combined experience, we have grown from a single studio in Mt. Lebanon to a state-of-the-art facility in Bethel Park, serving students across Pittsburgh. Our program emphasizes technical excellence, teamwork, and confidence-building through dance education. Our instructors are industry professionals with extensive performance and teaching backgrounds, including national competition wins and university-level training. We offer recreational and competitive classes in multiple dance styles, fostering a family-oriented environment that has produced regional and national champions.Our 15,000-square-foot facility includes six dance studios, a gymnastics room, and boutique, reflecting our commitment to comprehensive dance education. Competitive Dance Team
Our nationally recognized Competitive Dance Company trains students aged 3-19 in all dance styles. Company members receive specialized instruction from industry professionals and compete at regional and national events. The program emphasizes technical excellence, teamwork, and performance artistry while maintaining Pittsburgh's top competition scores for 28 years.
Ballet Classes
We offer ballet training from toddler through advanced levels with a focus on proper technique and artistic expression. Classes are taught by former professional dancers and ABT-certified instructors. Our program develops grace, discipline, and performance skills while preparing students for both recreational and competitive dance paths.
Gymnastics Training
Our gymnastics program builds strength, flexibility, and coordination through structured classes for all skill levels. Certified instructors teach fundamental skills and advanced techniques in a dedicated gymnastics facility with suspended floors and tumble tracks. Classes complement dance training while developing core athletic abilities.
Dance Parties
We host themed dance parties including princess, glow, and custom events in our spacious studios. Packages include professional instruction, themed decorations, and use of our performance facilities. Co-founder with 40+ years dance experience, holding BA in Dance from Point Park University. Professional performer in NYC and Germany, former Pittsburgh Maulers cheerleader, and Seton-LaSalle dance team coach.
Pamela Borelli Barsotti
Owner & Artistic Director
Co-founder with 40+ years dance experience, BA in Business Accounting from Duquesne University. Professional performer in Pittsburgh and Germany, former Seton-LaSalle dance team captain and coach.
Taylor Pecarchik
Instructor & Co-Owner
Graduate of University of Pittsburgh with 18 years competitive dance experience. Former University of Pittsburgh dance team member, award-winning choreographer, and instructor for all age groups.
Shayla Pringle
Choreographer & Instructor
National title winner with West Coast Dance Explosion, former Versatile Dance Company member. Faculty at Millennium Dance Complex Pittsburgh and award-winning choreographer with international performance experience.
Elaine Martinez Coro
Ballet Instructor
Former National Ballet of Cuba principal dancer, ABT-certified instructor with 14+ annual performances. Trained at Vocational School of Art in Cuba and National Ballet School in Havana.
