Our Story
Our journey began in 2007 as a surf school, operated out of a local surf shop, with our founder, Robert Farmer, sharing his love of the ocean with locals and visitors alike. Over the years, we expanded our operations to include beach gear rentals and a coffee shop with a selection of healthy groceries, skincare, and Farmdog apparel for sale. Today, our new headquarters are located in the former Morales Art Gallery building, where we operate Farmdog Beach Services.

At Farmdog Beach Services, our mission is to promote a healthy and active outdoor lifestyle, sharing our love of the Outer Banks with our loyal customers. We achieve this by offering high-quality beach setup services, including beach chairs and umbrellas, cabana rentals, and paddleboard rentals. Our services are designed to provide maximum comfort and convenience, so you can focus on enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Outer Banks.
Our Services
We offer two primary services: Beach Cabana Setup Service and Beach Umbrella Setup Service. Our Beach Cabana Setup Service includes a commercial-grade shelter and six chairs, set up and taken down daily at your preferred beach location. Our Beach Umbrella Setup Service includes a high-quality beach umbrella and two chairs, also set up and taken down daily.
