McNamara Builders is a family-owned business with a rich history that dates back to 1995. Our founder, Tom, began his career as a carpenter, giving him invaluable on-the-job site experience that has helped him become a quality builder and general contractor. At McNamara Builders, we pride ourselves on our strong business relationships with community leaders, suppliers, skilled craftsmen, bankers, and former clients. We have used the same subcontractors for years, as we have full confidence in the quality of their work.

Our company is based in Oak Lawn, IL, and we have established an outstanding reputation in the Chicago area for over 25 years. We specialize in a range of projects, including commercial areas, condominiums, lofts, townhouses, and single-family homes. We ensure that all work is compliant with local building codes and that all workers are licensed and insured.

Our services include new construction, additions, and remodels. We are capable of completing both commercial and residential projects, and we use only the highest quality subcontractors for all our projects. Tom is always responsive to clients' questions and phone calls, ensuring that the construction process is as smooth and stress-free as possible.

In addition to general construction services, Tom specializes in installing outdoor and rooftop decks. As a trained carpenter, he is able to install Trex Decking material and treated wood decks. We can also recommend a reputable architect to help bring your vision to life.

Past and Upcoming Projects

At McNamara Builders, we have a proven track record of successful projects. Some of our past projects include 1401 W Huron Chicago, a 3-unit condo building, 2656 W Augusta Chicago, another 3-unit condo building, and 4845 N. Keystone Chicago, a 6-unit condo building. We have also completed three 3-unit condo buildings on 1445, 1447, 1449 E 65th Place Chicago, as well as the Jackson Place Condos on 10659 Lavergne Avenue Chicago.

We are currently working on several upcoming projects, including 6341 S. Langley Ave., Chicago, Illinois, and Hastings on the Park, three 15-unit buildings located on 1517 - 1525 Hastings, Chicago. We are committed to completing all our projects on time and within budget, ensuring that our clients are completely satisfied with the final product.
