We recently completed the pre-construction planning and design phase with Monarch Custom Homes. We chose to work with Monarch after touring other homes in the area and not finding quite what we needed (some homes were in the early construction phase but with very limited ability to customize). We wanted a modern aesthetic with clean lines and an indoor-outdoor living space. The build is truly custom (not taken from a pre-existing floor plan), created by Dina, their talented in-house chief architect, based on our lot, desired square footage, and needs. She sent us the plans, floor by floor, and made adjustments until we were happy. Siva, the construction estimator, presented the budget to us at each meeting, so there was transparency on the cost of the build and where we were over or under budget. Siva also handled the construction permits. For the interior design, we provided inspiration photos for each of the spaces, and Dina created a design board to bring our vision to life. We selected materials from samples in the showroom, but Dina also provided guidance so that we would not get too overwhelmed with details. Rana, the office manager, coordinated meetings with subcontractors, negotiated builder discounts on things like appliances and fixtures, and ensured that everything was running smoothly. The pre-construction planning and design phase took about 5 months. We really enjoyed working with this exceptional team. We have busy jobs and a young child, with not a lot of free time on our hands, so it was a relief to be able to call Monarch and trust the process. We have just broken ground on our home, and are very excited to move on to the construction phase and see our dream home become a reality!

Monarch is the builder of our house, and we can unequivocally say that they have done a great job. They took care of each and every aspect of the built process, right from starting with helping us selecting the site, permits, design and architecture, construction loan, actual build the process was flawless and they kept us informed at each and every point. I would like to add that we the construction took a little bit longer (30 days more) than we initially expected, but that was not because of Monarch, but because of supply chain issues caused by COVID. Again, I do not have enough words to describe the great work Faris and his team at Monarch construction have done. If you want to build in the Northern Virginia area (Vienna, Mclean and Great Falls), go to Monarch. I do wish they expand to other areas within NOVA too.

We recently moved into our dream home built by Monarch. Faris enabled us to get a wonderful home within a planned budget. He and his team helped navigate the entire process to ensure we had a custom home with a strong modern flair built with judicious choices of selections without compromising on quality.
Faris is very genuine and very responsive throughout the process. As the saying goes, the leader alone cannot achieve things without an efficient team, it is very true with Faris' team. The team- Jason, Amy, Dale are very professional & efficient. The team took care of all the nitty gritty details and updated/alerted us whenever needed. Dale's support is exemplary. She makes sure the post construction problems are addressed promptly. She is reachable by phone and email (It feels like 7/24 support or I think she has clones of herself !!!!). Jason coordinated to ensure any errors were caught at an early stage. Amy understood our tastes and coordinated all the wonderful interior selections keeping a focus on the budget.
Overall, we are very happy to have chosen Monarch as our dream home builder and will happily refer to anyone to realize their dream home.

Choosing the right builder is always the toughest part of building a custom home. The moment my wife and I met Faris, and the staff at Monarch Construction, we felt that we need not look further. From Day 1 throughout the entire process of building our house in Vienna, there was transparency and trust. Any issues (very normal for custom build) encountered through the process were dealt with in a timely fashion and professionally. Most important of all, there was constant communication on where things were during the construction phase and Monarch was flexible on reasonable requests for changes. We have lived in our home for 2 years now, and we love it. It was built with top quality and workmanship and I would highly recommend building with Monarch.
