About Megan

Megan, the founder and head trainer of Iverson Equestrian, has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the equestrian world. She started her riding career in the equitation and hunter rings, where she achieved great success in Zone 1 IEA and Boston University's IHSA team. After college, Megan transitioned to eventing and received her teaching license under the guidance of advanced level event rider Stephie Baer. She continues to train with Stephie on her horse, Dingo, and has also worked with renowned trainers such as Boyd Martin, Dom Schramm, Suzi Gornall, Ted Torrey, Michael Page, and Eliza Farren. Megan's passion for horses and teaching is evident in her personalized and respectful approach to lesson programs, ensuring that each rider gets the most out of their riding experience.

Our Team

Samantha O'Hare is a valuable member of the Iverson Equestrian team, joining us first as a client and then becoming a foundational team member. With her laid-back teaching style, Sam is ideal for beginner riders, those with anxiety, special needs, or those who simply want to have fun. Her playful and charismatic personality brings joy and positivity to the barn, making her a beloved instructor among our clients.

North Scituate, RI

Our North Scituate, RI, location has been home to our lesson and training program since April 2022. With beautifully manicured lawns, a large outdoor riding arena with solar lights, a spacious field to ride in, and a lovely barn with modern features, North Scituate provides a picturesque and comfortable setting for riders. Starting in spring 2024, this location will be primarily for boarded horses, with full and semi-rough boarding options available.

Foster, RI

As of spring 2024, our Foster, RI, location will serve as the center of our lesson program and training operation. This location boasts a 75x185 foot indoor riding arena, 125 acres of land for paddocks, trails, and riding fields, and exceptional facilities for full training boarding, including twice-weekly training sessions.

Our lessons are designed to help riders build a strong foundation in riding techniques, horse care, and equine knowledge. With one-on-one and group lesson options, we cater to both casual trail riders and competitive show riders, ensuring that each individual receives the attention and guidance they need to achieve their personal goals.

Pricing

We are excited to offer discount packages to our clients who pay in full on the first of each month, providing an average lesson price ranging from $75 to $86.54. For clients with significant absences during the month, we offer flexible payment options to accommodate their unique schedules.
