Our Story

Our journey began in 1880 when Charles J. Dillon founded the Dillon Funeral Home in Hartford. As the business grew, Gerald S. Baxter, Sr. joined the firm in 1963 and went on to build the current funeral home in 1978-1979. This marked a significant milestone, as we introduced handicap access and a large parking area to accommodate our valued clients. Since then, Mr. Baxter's values of care, compassion, and quality have been passed down through generations.
