Welcome to Keys In Hand Driving School, located in Flint, Michigan. Since our founding in 2016, we have been dedicated to providing transformative learning experiences that help our students grow both in and out of the classroom. Our mission is to empower our students to make a difference in the world by teaching them the rules of the road and promoting safe driving habits.

Our Instructors

At Keys In Hand Driving School, our instructors are passionate about teaching students the skills they need to become safe and confident drivers. With over 25 years of experience teaching youth in the Flint public schools, our lead instructor, Charles, has a proven track record of preparing students to face challenges and succeed. Charles' driver's education classes are not only a way for students to learn practical driving skills, but also a platform for self-discovery and personal growth.

Our Services

Keys In Hand Driving School offers a range of services designed to meet the needs of our students. Our programs include:

• Segment 1: This program is designed for students who are new to driving. It includes 24 hours of classroom instruction, 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction, and 4 hours of observation time in a training vehicle. Students who complete this program will be eligible to take the Segment 1 written exam.
• Segment 2: This program is designed for students who have completed Segment 1 and have completed 30 hours of behind-the-wheel practice, including 2 hours of night time driving. It includes 6 hours of classroom instruction and the Segment 2 written exam.
• Adult Behind the Wheel: This program is designed for adults who are new to driving or need a refresher course. It includes 4 hours of adult driving lessons, each lesson is one hour long.

At Keys In Hand Driving School, the health and safety of our staff, students, and communities are our top priority. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have implemented ongoing measures to ensure the safety of our staff and students while maintaining the highest level of service. We have implemented a vehicle cleaning policy before each lesson and ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate these challenging times.
