Our History

Celebrating over 60 years of Montessori excellence, Cambridge Montessori School is an independent non-profit school educating students aged 18 months to 14 years. Located in the heart of Cambridge, Massachusetts, our school is a place where cultures blend and everyone feels at home. Our rich curriculum is designed to allow students to remain curious about the whole world, maintaining a balance between rigorous learning and healthy, peaceful classrooms.

Our Programs

We offer a range of programs tailored to meet the unique needs of students at different stages of their educational journey. Our Toddler Program is designed for children aged 18 months to 3 years, our Primary Program caters to students aged 3 to 6 years, our Elementary Program is for students aged 6 to 12 years, and our Middle School Program is for students aged 12 to 14 years. Each program is carefully crafted to provide a supportive and engaging environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth.

Beyond the Classroom

Our Passport programs are designed to enhance your child's experience and provide a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for CMS students and members of the surrounding community. Our Clubs program offers students the opportunity to cultivate interests and turn them into talents, while our Summer Camps provide a fun and interactive way for children to continue learning during the summer months. We also have a strong Parent Association that seeks to provide meaningful ways for all families to be engaged in supporting our school.
