At the Maryland Wineries Association, our passion is to promote and support the grape and wine industry in Maryland. As a non-profit trade organization, we have been dedicated to this mission since 1984, representing over 80 wineries across the state.

Our History

The Maryland Wineries Association was formed in 1984 with a vision to develop and expand the grape and wine industry in Maryland. Over the years, we have grown to become a prominent organization, providing a platform for wineries to come together and promote their products. Our mission is to encourage the production of high-quality grapes and wine in Maryland, increase public recognition of the Maryland wine industry, and establish mutually beneficial relationships with local, state, and federal governmental agencies and industry groups.

Our Services

We offer a range of services to support our member wineries, including education and promotion. We provide a forum for the exchange of ideas, contracts, and collective event planning, making it easier for wineries to connect and grow. Our events, such as the Maryland Wine Festival, bring together wineries, wine enthusiasts, and industry professionals, providing a unique opportunity for networking and business development.
