Who We Are

Pet City Sitters is a professional pet sitting and dog walking service based in Somerville, Massachusetts, serving the surrounding areas of Cambridge, Watertown, Arlington, and Medford. Our founder and owner, Michelle Anders, has been providing exceptional care to furry friends since July 2010. With a lifelong passion for animals, Michelle has created a business that is built on trust, love, and a deep understanding of the unique needs of each pet.

Our Story

Growing up in Arlington, VA, Michelle was surrounded by a diverse range of animals, from tortoises to horses, and everything in between. This early exposure instilled in her a deep love and respect for all creatures great and small. After attending the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and the San Francisco Art Institute, Michelle worked in childcare and retail management before pursuing her true calling as a professional pet sitter. In 2010, she opened Pet City Sitters, and has since completed thousands of pet sitting assignments, including travel to care for kitty and doggie clients in various locations.

Our Services

At Pet City Sitters, we understand that your pet is a beloved member of your family, and we are committed to providing them with the same love, care, and attention that you would. Our services include daily and multiple daily visits, dog walking, overnight care in your home, lockout service/key delivery, errands, and pet food pickup. We also administer medications and provide special care for pets with unique needs. Whether you have a cat, dog, or other furry friend, we are dedicated to giving them the TLC they deserve.

We don't believe in caring for multiple dogs at once; instead, we focus on giving each pet the individualized attention they need and deserve.
