Located in Grandview, Missouri, the Missouri Valley AAU Judo Club is a vibrant community of dedicated judoka ( practitioners of Judo) of all ages and skill levels. We welcome anyone with a desire to learn this dynamic martial art or refine their existing skills.

Our Expertise

Our experienced instructors, Sensei Mike Russell and Sensei Brian Hanson, boast decades of experience in both traditional and Freestyle Judo/Jujitsu. They are passionate about sharing their knowledge and guiding students toward reaching their full potential.

A Diverse Training Experience

We offer rigorous training programs for both Gi (traditional Judo with uniforms) and No-Gi (Jujitsu without uniforms) styles. We also compete in various local and regional tournaments, allowing our students to test their skills and forge lasting friendships.

Empowering Beginners and Experienced Athletes

Our programs cater to all. We start children as young as 6 years old in our dedicated Kids' Class, teaching them foundational skills in a fun, safe, and disciplined environment. Experienced athletes can refine their techniques and explore advanced tactics through our competitive adult program.
