Metal Works

The Metal Works, Inc. has been in operation for over 40 years, with a rich history of providing high-quality steel fabrication services to a wide range of industries. Our journey began in 1979, as a utility trailer manufacturer and repair business. Over the years, we have expanded our services to include structural and miscellaneous steel, wrought iron railing, fencing, and gates, stairs, and guard rails.

At the helm of our company is Troy, who started his career in the metal works field just out of high school. With a wealth of knowledge and experience gained through his years of working as a helper, sheet metal mechanic, and foreman in the steel industry, Troy became a partner in The Metal Works Company and eventually became the sole owner in 1993. He has earned a reputation as the go-to expert when projects seem impossible.

Troy is married to his high school sweetheart, Brenda, and they have one son, Neil, who is also deeply involved in the business. Neil grew up working in the shop, learning from some of the most talented individuals in the industry. He worked during school breaks, organizing steel racks and serving as an extra pair of hands wherever needed. Neil earned his degrees in Business and Animal Sciences from Clemson University and is married with two sons. He is our General Contractor, In-house Trainer, Certified Crane Operator, and Field Expert on getting steel in the air or into buildings.
