Huxdotter Coffee was born in the heart of the Snoqualmie Valley in 1990. Initially known as "Cascade Espresso, " we started as a modest espresso cart nestled outside the now-familiar Ace Hardware. We quickly outgrew that space, relocating across the street to the very same drive-thru and walk-up location that now hosts our bustling flagship cafe. This move marked an important transition for our brand, as we adopted the name "Huxdotter Specialty Coffee" when our original owner began roasting coffee beans, serving our existing drive-thru and expanding to other wholesale accounts. The name "Huxdotter" embodies the spirit of dedication and family that run deep within our organization. Derived from Swedish tradition, it signifies "daughter of Hux, " reflecting the nurturing and supportive environment we strive to cultivate both for our employees and our patrons.
