Experience the taste of Italy on the San Francisco Bay

For over five decades, Scoma's Sausalito has been a beloved institution along the picturesque Sausalito waterfront. Our story began in 1969, when two of San Francisco's most renowned restaurateurs, Al and Joe Scoma, and Victor and Rolando Gotti, came together to create a dining experience that would rival the finest restaurants in the Bay Area. Our mission was clear: to serve the freshest, sustainably sourced seafood in a setting that would make our guests feel like they were dining on the Italian Riviera.

Our History

Our beautiful Victorian building has been a Sausalito landmark since the 19th century, serving as a tugboat and ferry service in the early days. In the mid-20th century, it transformed into a popular watering hole known as "Tin Angel" and, later, the "Glad Hand." Today, we proudly bear the name Scoma's Sausalito, testament to our rich history and commitment to preserving this beloved spot.
