Bending Branch Winery is a renowned wine producer located in Comfort, Texas. Founded in 2009 by Robert W. Young, M.D., our mission is to create Next World Wines right here in Texas. Our Wines

At Bending Branch Winery, we specialize in unique grape varieties that thrive in the Texas climate. Here are some of our signature wines:

• Tannat: Our Tannat wines are known for their deep color and bold flavor. We source our Tannat grapes from some of the best vineyards in Texas, including Tallent Vineyards and Lost Pirogue Vineyard.
• Malbec: Our Malbec is a new release from Tallent Vineyards, and it is already receiving rave reviews. This wine is complex and full-bodied, with notes of black fruit and chocolate.
• Souzao: Our Souzao is a unique teinturier grape variety that produces a complex and assertive wine. This wine is only produced in small quantities, so be sure to try it while it's available.
• Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve: Our Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a reserve bottling of Cabernet Sauvignon from Newsom Vineyards. This wine is rich and elegant, with notes of dark fruit and spice.
• Petit Verdot: Our Petit Verdot is a classic Bordeaux blend that is well-suited to the heat of the Texas High Plains. This wine is rich and complex, with notes of black fruit and tobacco.
