Welcome to the Lane Amateur Hockey Association (LAHA), a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the sport of ice hockey in Eugene, Lane County, and surrounding areas. Our mission is to foster citizenship, sportsmanship, fellowship, and physical development among youth through the game of ice hockey. We strive to provide a nurturing environment where players, parents, coaches, and officials can learn, grow, and excel in this fast-paced and thrilling sport.
Our vision is to inspire local youth to embrace good sportsmanship, to compete to the best of their ability while uplifting those around them, and to become lifelong fans of the game. We are committed to cultivating a love for hockey that extends beyond the rink and into everyday life.
Board of Directors & Meeting Minutes
The LAHA Board of Directors consists of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure the smooth operation of the association. The board meets monthly to discuss ongoing business, address member concerns, and plan for future program development. Meeting minutes are made available to the public to maintain transparency and keep members informed.

- Season Registration: Participants can register for our regular season, which runs from October through March. Players are placed on teams based on their age and skill level.
- Skills Clinics: We offer skills clinics for players of all ages throughout the year. These clinics provide an opportunity for players to improve their skills and learn new techniques in a fun and supportive environment.
- Try Hockey for Free: As part of our effort to make hockey accessible to all, we regularly host events where children can try hockey for free. All necessary equipment is provided, and no experience is necessary.
- Intro to Hockey: Our introductory program is designed for children who are new to the sport. This program provides a solid foundation for players to build upon as they progress through our other programs.
- Eugene Jr. Generals: Our travel hockey program, the Eugene Jr. Generals, offers a competitive experience for players looking to take their game to the next level.
- Girls Hockey: We believe in empowering girls through sport, and our girls-only hockey program provides a safe and inclusive space for girls to learn and grow.
- Special Hockey: Our special hockey program is designed for players with developmental disabilities. This program focuses on fostering self-confidence, social skills, and overall well-being through the sport of hockey.
