Old Man Willow Farm Equestrian Center is a family-friendly establishment dedicated to providing exceptional care for horses and riders of all levels. Nestled just 20 minutes south of Monroe, Oregon, on Highway 99 W, our barn offers top-quality horse boarding, personalized training programs, and fun, enriching riding lessons in a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. We are conveniently located between Corvallis and Eugene, making us easily accessible to riders in the Willamette Valley.

Horse Boarding

At Old Man Willow Farm, we understand that your horse is a cherished member of your family. That's why we offer personalized care tailored to each individual horse's needs. Our small, 10-stall barn provides a comfortable and nurturing environment where your horse will thrive. Each stall includes a rubber mat for superior cushioning and a spacious 10 by 12 covered run, offering protection from the elements and a place to relax. We are committed to providing the highest level of care, which includes daily cleaning, feeding according to your horse's dietary requirements, blanking as needed, and turn-out in our outdoor pastures (weather permitting).

Our Training Program

Our knowledgeable and experienced trainer, Dyan Vorster, is dedicated to helping both horses and riders reach their full potential. Dyan has a wealth of experience working with horses of all breeds and disciplines. She specializes in schooling young horses, retraining problem cases, and guiding riders through all levels of equestrian training. With a thoughtful approach and customized training plans, Dyan focuses on building a strong foundation of trust and communication between horse and rider. Whether you're seeking to enhance your riding skills, prepare for competitions, or simply enjoy a deeper connection with your horse, our training program offers the support and guidance you need.

Riding Lessons

We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the joy of horseback riding. Our riding lessons cater to all ages and experience levels, from beginners to advanced riders. Our beginner-friendly Introductory Package is perfect for introducing young riders ages five to twelve to the world of horses. Each package includes four 60-minute lessons designed to build fundamental horsemanship skills, including safety procedures, grooming, tacking, riding mechanics, and horse care. Children will participate in both private riding lessons and interactive sessions focusing on horse care. Upon completion of the Introductory Package, riders are encouraged to continue their journey with our regular private lesson program.

We also offer Private Lessons on a month-to-month basis, suitable for riders who have already gained some basic horsemanship skills and are ready to refine their technique and progress further. Under the watchful eye of our experienced instructors, riders will develop their riding abilities, gain confidence, and build a lasting bond with their equine partners.
