Leland Home combines a distinguished history dating back to 1879 with a commitment to personalized senior care. As a not-for-profit organization governed by a community-focused Board of Managers, we provide safe and affordable housing for individuals aged 62 and over who require assistance in daily living. Our mission centers on maintaining residents' dignity and independence through a warm, homelike environment that fosters social engagement and personal comfort. The facility features Colonial Revival architecture with communal dining areas, lounges, and recreational spaces designed to enhance quality of life. While our physical location will close in November 2020 due to economic and structural challenges, we remain dedicated to continuing our mission through alternative care solutions in the Waltham community. Our professional staff works closely with residents to create customized programs that include three daily meals, stimulating activities, utilities, and transportation to medical appointments.
