The Idaho High School Activities Association (IHSAA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of young athletes and performers throughout the state. We govern and promote interscholastic competition and activities in partnership with schools, parents, coaches, and the community.

Our Mission

• To foster positive and competitive interscholastic experiences for Idaho's high school students.
• To provide resources and support for schools, coaches, and officials.
• To celebrate the achievements of our student-athletes and performers.

1. Governance & Competition

• Develop and enforce rules and regulations for interscholastic competition.
• Manage state championships in various sports and activities.
• Provide support and guidance for local athletic conferences.

2. Support & Resources

• Offer educational resources for coaches, parents, and students.
• Maintain a directory of schools and athletic personnel.
• Host clinics and workshops on various topics relevant to extracurricular activities.

3. Recognition & Awards

• Recognize outstanding student-athletes, coaches, and officials through awards and honors programs.
• Celebrate the achievements of our student-athletes with All-State teams and individual awards.

4. Advocacy & Outreach

• Advocate for the importance of interscholastic activities in education.
• Represent Idaho at state and national conferences.
• Partner with organizations to enhance the quality of extracurricular experiences for students.

5. Community Engagement

• Host public events such as state championships and all-star games.
• Provide opportunities for community involvement through volunteering and sponsorships.
